Need option in the app to disable “Clearance Leg Setting”

My apartment is mostly flat. It does not have any virtual thresholds, ramps or stairs, so I do not want the robot to try to climb things that it’s not supposed to.

The robot sometimes tries to jump over slippers, some furniture or stands, and in that attempt it might damage itself, so I simply want to disable this “leg raising” feature altogether because I have no use of this feature in my apartment.

As you can see in the attached video, the robot is trying to jump over a slipper and sometimes small tables that have U-shaped legs. I simply want the robot to just avoid them and not try to raise it legs.

I feel this could be easy to incorporate in a future update of the system as they have the option to turn off carpet detection for those of us that have all hard floor. Seems logical to be able to turn off multi floor settings if you have a single story home.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. At the moment, it's not possible to completely disable the obstacle-crossing feature. Factors like moving obstacles can sometimes lead to misidentification.

If you want the robot to avoid specific areas, you can set no-go zones or virtual walls. We appreciate your suggestion about adding an option in the app to disable the “Clearance Leg Setting” and have forwarded it to our development team for future consideration.
