Z60 on Rugs

The Mova Z60 seems to be hit or miss on how it handles rugs. It does just fine on the front door and living room rugs, but smaller bathroom rugs it tends to push around a lot rather than ever getting on top to actually clean them. Then there is this large red/black rug in my office that it just can not handle at all. Kinda weird.

this model is able to clean most types of carpets. However, carpets thicker than 2 cm, as well as black carpets, may not be cleaned properly.

The robot is equipped with cliff sensors on the bottom. Due to the physical properties of infrared light, these sensors may be triggered when the robot operates on black carpets, causing a false cliff warning and preventing normal cleaning.

For thinner or lightweight carpets, we recommend securing the edges as much as possible. Otherwise, the robot may lift or roll up the carpet during cleaning.
