Cleaning and Maintenance

Its been one month with the new Z60. I have checked the dust bin and cleaned the filter every week. I did find the dustbin clogged with cat hair once, which begs how long was it clogged that week, not actually cleaning anything? Seemed to be an isolated incident though. The dust bag is about 1/3 full now. I also pulled out the used consumables and compared them to the brande new spare parts that came with the Z60. The mop roller looks almost exactly the same as the new roller. Maybe a bit less fluffy. The vacuum rollers look to still be in new condition. I cleaned up the filter and there is no damage or large debris stuck, so going to keep using it. I'll probably give it a proper wash next month. After just one month, the side brush has definitely degraded compared to the new one. The ends are starting to fray out. I think there is still a couple months use from it, but i do see this as the item that would likely ned replaced most often. Images below have used item on left and new item on right.

If the debris collected by the robot mainly consists of fibrous or fluffy materials (such as pet hair or lint), this type of debris can easily clog the air inlet and is often difficult for the base station to remove completely.

In such cases, we regret to inform you that manual cleaning of the affected area is recommended, as the base station may not be able to fully clear this type of debris on its own.

With regular cleaning, the floor usually stays cleaner for a longer period of time, which helps reduce the accumulation of lint and significantly lowers the likelihood of the air inlet becoming clogged again.

Additionally, regarding the fraying of the side brush bristles, you can try soaking the brush in hot water. This often helps the bristles return to their original shape.
