The mapping feature on the Mova app is yet another impressive part of the Z60 Ultra Roller Complete. Right out of the gate, it didn’t just draw a rough outline of the house—it built a clean, accurate layout that actually looks like my home. Rooms were separated correctly, and it even labeled areas like the kitchen, hallway, and living room without me having to babysit it.
What really stood out to me was how well it handled furniture. The 3D map view shows beds, cabinets, and layout details in a way that feels more like a digital twin than a basic robot vacuum map. It picked up on obstacles and permanent furniture with surprising accuracy, which makes setting cleaning zones and exclusions super easy. I didn’t have to keep correcting it or redrawing walls like I’ve had to do with other robot vacs.
Switching between 2D and 3D views is smooth, and both are actually useful. The 2D map is great for quick edits and cleaning paths, while the 3D view gives you a clear visual of how the robot understands your space. You can tell this thing isn’t just randomly bumping around—it knows where it is and where it’s going.
Another thing I liked is how fast it mapped everything. Within minutes, it had a solid layout, and after a couple runs it refined it even more. The zones, room segmentation, and cleaning paths all feel intentional and efficient, not chaotic.
Overall, the mapping on the Z60 is smart, detailed, and reliable. It makes the whole experience feel more high-end and way less hands-on than most robot vacuums I’ve used.
Full disclosure: I received this Z60 through MOVA’s Get & Create program at no cost in exchange for honest feedback. #sponsored
