[P10 Pro Ultra] P10 Gen 2 carpet vacuum issues

I have mapped the floor 3 times. It does the hard surfaces fine. But when it gets on carpet it just spins around and seems to lose its place. It never completes the room before draining the battery completely. No clean lines like the other rooms just a lot of swirls and it never completes. I have tried the carpet surface setting with no luck. Cleaned all the sensors and wheels. Carpet is only a 1 inch medium pile. Can this machine not vacuum carpet?

Hello,

if the carpet is relatively thick, long‑pile, or black in color, the robot may not be able to vacuum it properly.

Could you please upload a photo of the carpet so that we can help assess the situation more accurately?

The carpet is brown, medium pile. If remap and clean all in one it will work. But the next time it will go around in circles and get lost.

It’s not funny at all but this is the funniest thing… I can only imagine what the robot looks like doing this. Sorry you are experiencing this!

Im having the same exact problem with mine. Hopefully they figure it out.  I was considering sending it back. Does great everyone i remapped the house.
