Hi,
Today has been a day of stuff on the floor. My dog Jack was on a terror destroying his toys so I ended up with strings and fluff on the floor. The grandkids also left pieces of paper Easter grass around. Time for the Z60 to get to work.
I have noticed that the Z60 does an excellent job of avoiding cords. I was a little concerned it would do the same with the paper Easter grass and the fluff and strings left by Jack, since both were long and thicker pieces of debris.
The videos show the Z60 at work picking up the Easter grass and the 2nd video the string. I did shorten the 2nd video, however it did pick up all 3 pieces that were on the floor.
I also wanted to see what it would look like on the bottom of the robot. I thought I might need to remove the brushes or the rollers to untangle the pieces. The picture shows what the bottom looked like when it finished. I did wait for it to empty the dustbin before I checked it, but as you can see the debris is gone. No tangling around wheels, brushes, etc. There is one piece of the thread in the middle of the orange/black rollers. It was not tangled it was just laying there. I pulled it off easily.
I am impressed that it did a good job with that. I'm a quilter / sewing person so I know it will be picking up a lot of threads and fabric lint. I am optimistic that it will handle those as well as it did the stuffing, threads and Easter grass.
