Regarding the issue with your device, we recommend following the steps below for troubleshooting:
The sweeping robot identifies carpets through ultrasonic sensors at the bottom of the robot.
1. Confirm whether the robot firmware is the latest version. If not, upgrade the robot to the latest version first.
2. Check whether the ultrasonic sensor is blocked by dust, hair and other debris. If so, clean it up and restart the robot to resume the task.
3. If the carpet material is high-density, small or thin, the robot may fail to recognize it. In that case, you may manually add a carpet area (Map editing – Ground environment – Carpet).
