Feature Request for MOVA LiDAX Ultra: Adjustable Edge Trimming Height and Zone Logic

Hello,
I am a user of the MOVA LiDAX Ultra and I would like to suggest a crucial improvement for the zone management and cutting logic in the app. Currently, when using multiple zones (which is necessary for my garden to maintain a specific mowing direction on steep slopes), the mower creates visible "trenches" or strips in the lawn.
The Problem:
Even when the main cutting height is set to 40mm, the mower performs the edge trim (boundary pass) at a fixed lower height (likely 30mm). This happens on all zone boundaries, including internal ones that are in the middle of the lawn.
Proposed Solutions:
To fix this for the MOVA LiDAX Ultra, I suggest implementing one of the following software updates:
Height-adjustable Edge Trim: Allow users to set the cutting height for the edge pass separately, or simply sync it automatically with the height of the main area.
Outer Perimeter Only Option: Add a toggle to perform edge mowing ONLY on the outer map perimeter (walls/fences) and ignore internal boundaries between zones.
These changes would significantly improve the visual quality of the lawn and prevent unsightly strips where zones overlap.
Thank you for considering this feedback for future firmware updates!

Dear user,

Hello. We fully understand your frustration and we apologize for the uneven cutting height between zone edges and the main lawn area.

When the UltraTrim function is enabled, the robot offsets the cutter head to trim the edges. By default, edge trimming is fixed at 3 cm, even if the main lawn cutting height is set to 4 cm.

At present, the cutting height of UltraTrim cannot be adjusted. Due to EU safety regulations, when the cutter head is shifted sideways, the cutting height is restricted to 3 cm to prevent accidental finger contact with the blades.

If you are concerned about the height difference between edges and the main lawn, you can set separate mowing frequencies for the main zones and edge trimming. Reducing the edge mowing frequency will allow the grass along the edges to grow and even out naturally.

As for your request to add a toggle option: only trim the outer garden perimeter and skip internal zone boundaries, we have duly recorded your suggestion. We will forward it to our technical team for evaluation and feasibility consideration in future updates to improve user experience.

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback and suggestion.
