Before I received this, my biggest question wasn't about suction power or battery life it was whether my dog was going to lose her mind every time it turned on. I've seen videos of dogs absolutely panicking around these things, and I was not looking forward to that drama. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. She is completely indifferent to it. Doesn't bark or chase it at all. She'll just be lying there on the rug and the vacuum will recognize she is there and move to another spot.
What really impressed me is how well it navigates around her when she's planted somewhere. It doesn't bump into her or get confused it simply detects she's there, reroutes, and moves on. Then, once she gets up and moves to another spot, it actually comes back and cleans the area it skipped. I didn't expect that level of thoroughness. The floor ends up fully covered by the end of the run, no missed patches because the dog was in the way.
