Unboxing the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete — First Impressions + What Comes in the Box
Before I get into it, quick transparency note: I received the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete through MOVA’s “Get & Create” program at no cost in exchange for sharing my honest experience. That said, everything here is based on actually using it in my apartment. I’m not an influencer, and I’m definitely not trying to make perfectly staged cleaning content. I’m just excited to see how the V50 works in my home with a normal mess. Also: You may need to refresh this page in order for the video to show up.
TL;DR:
I just unboxed the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete, and my first impression is that MOVA packed this thing with a surprising amount of accessories. The robot and dock look really clean in white, the accessory bundle is generous, and I’m excited to test it against some real problem areas in my apartment that my Z60 has not been able to fully reach.
I wanted to start this series with a simple unboxing video so everyone can see what actually comes with the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete. I tried to move through the cardboard and packaging pretty quickly and focus more on the actual contents of the box.
Right away, the accessory pack stood out to me. The V50 Ultra Complete comes with extra vacuum rollers, extra side brushes, dust bags, filters, mop pads, the multi-surface floor cleaner, and the pet odor solution. I had to count the mop pads more than once because there were more than I expected. Between the loose pads and the ones with the attachment mechanism already on them, MOVA definitely included a lot to get started with. That is something I appreciated with my Z60 as well — MOVA does not seem stingy with accessories.
The robot itself also made a really good first impression. I personally really like the white design. My Z60 is black, and it still looks nice, but the V50 has a cleaner, more modern look that fits my apartment better. I have a lot of gray and white in my place, so the V50 should blend in nicely wherever I end up placing the dock. The design honestly gives me a bit of an Apple-like feel, which I mean as a compliment. It looks simple, clean, and premium without being too flashy.
The dock also looks really nice in person. The front panel has a warmer tone to it that almost looks rose-gold-ish to me, and the clean and dirty water tanks are easy to access from the top. One thing I mentioned in the video is that I use distilled water in my robot vacuums and other appliances that take water. My water is pretty hard where I live, so I try to avoid scale buildup whenever I can. That is not me saying everyone has to do that, but for my apartment and my water, it is something I feel better doing.
I’m also curious to see how the V50 compares to my Z60 in real use. My Z60 has honestly been doing great overall, but like anything, it has some quirks I’ve noticed after living with it for a while. I’ll cover that separately because I don’t want this unboxing post to turn into a full comparison, but there are a few areas in my apartment where I’m especially interested to see if the V50 can do better.
The next step is getting the V50 charged, set up, and mapped. After that, I’m going to start testing it on actual messes and real problem spots in my apartment. I already have a few specific areas in mind, including one under my stove where I found some old dust, crumbs, and what looks like a stain I didn’t even realize was there until I pulled things out to clean. That should make for a pretty good real-world test.
And yes, Milo will definitely make an appearance in the content too.
Overall, my first impression from the unboxing is very positive. The V50 Ultra Complete looks great, the dock feels premium, and the amount of included accessories is honestly impressive. Now I’m ready to see how it actually performs beyond just looking good out of the box.
