This was one of the biggest real-world tests we wanted to try with the MOVA V50. Ursa is an old fashioned German Shepherd with a thick double coat, and Star is an English Shepherd with a double coat as well. Even just pulling loose tufts by hand showed how much fur they can leave behind.
We wanted to see how Frodo would handle what I jokingly called “puppy confetti.” The fur pieces were thicker than normal dust or crumbs, but the vacuum pulled them in without any issues. It didn’t get clogged, didn’t push the clumps around, and made it through the cleanup smoothly.
After vacuuming, the floor looked amazing, and the mopping pass helped finish the area along the edges. I also used the Cruise setting for a final pass after cleanup. It moved back through the area, showed how clean the floor looked after vacuuming and mopping, and even captured a photo of Ursa and Star together in the gallery.
This was probably one of the most practical tests for our home, because dog hair is something we deal with constantly. So far, Frodo has handled it better than expected.
