The dust bag in the V50 Ultra Complete’s dock is impressively large and delivers excellent filtration, but unfortunately, it isn’t infinite and will eventually need replacing. If you wait too long, trapped dust can accumulate and risk blowing back out during emptying, so timely replacement prevents mess and preserves suction performance.
Fortunately, replacement bags are affordable, arrive folded flat, and are extremely simple to install.
Installation is one smooth motion: slide the gray plastic collar into the dock’s bag slot, unfold the bag so it lies flat, and ensure the collar seats securely.
Any remaining folds will open during the first few auto‑empty cycles. The dock’s design keeps the process tidy and quick, making routine maintenance low effort and low cost.
