The upstairs test was one of the most useful ones for me because it showed a different side of the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete. Downstairs, most of my testing was on hard floor, tile, and mopping, but upstairs is fully carpeted and has more real bedroom clutter. That made it a better test for normal carpet use, especially with furniture, bags, cords, and other things around.
Before running it, I checked the carpet options in the app, and I think settings like Carpet Boost and Side Brush Rotating on Carpet are important to have on. Carpet needs more effort than hard floor, so I liked having those specific options available instead of using the same setup everywhere.
In this run, the robot did a good job moving around the upstairs obstacles and cleaning the carpet. The hair pickup also stood out to me. Compared to my old P50 Ultra in a similar carpet situation, the dual brush system on the V50 felt noticeably better. The only thing I noticed is that the battery drained faster upstairs, which makes sense on carpet. For a two-floor home, I still think a small upstairs charging-only dock would be a great accessory.
