I recently posted a video of the v50 trying to clean up flour off the kitchen floor. Results were not ideal, but i figured it would not be fair to expect it to tackle max mess on moderate settings. Subsequently I re did the test on max settings. I set a cleaning zone on the app, then selected the options to "mop after vac", Max suction with Max+ suction toggled on, then set the mop to "warm', slid wetness to max, and route to "deep". I screen shotted the settings and attached for clarity. The results were much more impressive. The robot actually removed the mop pads for the vac stage which I did not expect to happen, but i think did help avoid tracking flour around like before. Overall., the results are not quite perfect, I suspect the mop pads were getting saturated by the end where we see some residue, but overall pretty impressive. I bet if I had reduced the interval for cleaning the pads it could have been perfect, but i think would make for too long a video even if sped up. I did speed these up 4x for convivence.
The first vid is the vac phase and 2nd the mop phase. I didn't overlay sound because i wanted to highlight how silent the robot is in mop mode.
It would be really cool if there was a software update that enabled the robot to detect the level of mess it was going over and auto adjust the settings on the fly to max cleaning in the messiest areas while using lower settings in less messy areas.
