MOVA V50 Carpet Vacuum Test: Coffee Grounds and Dryer Lint

Before I get into it, quick transparency note: I received the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete through MOVA’s “Get & Create” program at no cost in exchange for sharing my honest experience. That said, everything here is based on actually using it in my apartment. I’m not an influencer, and I’m definitely not trying to make perfectly staged cleaning content. TL;DR: I tested the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete on coffee grounds and dryer lint pushed into carpet. It picked up all of the coffee grounds, which was impressive, but it did leave behind visible traces of dryer lint.

For this test, I wanted to see how the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete would handle two very different types of debris on carpet: coffee grounds and dryer lint. I pushed both into the carpet a bit instead of just sprinkling them loosely on top, because that felt closer to the kind of mess that can actually get worked down into carpet fibers.

The V50 did a really good job with the coffee grounds. From what I could see, it picked up all of them and did not leave behind the gritty little specks that I expected to find afterward. Coffee grounds can be annoying because they are small, dark, and easy to spot if anything gets missed, so I was happy with how clean the carpet looked after that part of the test.

The dryer lint was a tougher challenge. It did pick up some of it, but it left behind visible traces in the carpet. That did not completely surprise me because dryer lint is light, clingy, and tends to grab onto carpet fibers instead of sitting loose on the surface. Still, since I could clearly see some left behind after the run, I would not call that part perfect.

Overall, this was a mixed but useful result. For small gritty debris like coffee grounds, the V50 performed very well on carpet. For clingy fiber-type messes like dryer lint, it handled some of it but did not fully remove everything in one pass. That is the kind of real-world detail I care about because not every mess behaves the same way on carpet.
