[V50 Ultra Complete] Not staying at dock after completing task

Hi guys, I've seen a few posts about this on the v50 ultra and haven't seen any solutions so wondering if anyone has any ideas? The robot worked flawlessly at first but lately within the last week I've run into an issue where the robot will complete the task, go back to the dock to empty dust bin & clean mop pads, then while drying it will randomly move off the dock and then re-dock. It does this sometimes for up to an hour before it actually stays still. During the cleaning when it goes back to clean/empty it has no problem actually getting to the dock and it even gets back to it and charges for the first few minutes without issue and then randomly undocks itself.
It doesn't even seem to be an issue with it falling off or anything as it stays on just fine. It just randomly steps away and comes back. Very annoying when it does it at night.

I have checked/cleaned all sensors, the wheels aren't slipping or anything, dock is level, etc. I'm wondering if this might be a new firmware problem or something since it seems to be recent and I've also seen other posts as of lately having the same problem?

Hello. Have you updated the firmware? Please try clearing the cache, then restart the app and the robot. Sometimes this can help. If the issue persists, could you please provide your firmware version, your robot's SN, and upload the work log? We will analyze it further.
I’ve left this response on some of the other post here hoping to possibly get some help for those of us having problems. Good luck. Our V50 worked perfectly for about a month then started to act confused and was unable to navigate thresholds etc as well as had trouble docking. It would back into the dock and the rear wheels would continue to spin and it would attempt to dock until the battery would eventually die. It would attempt to crawl over thresholds as it had done on the past just fine but would start the process about 18” away from the threshold and then just end up back on the floor of the room it was trying to exit….and one of ots drive wheels would no longer be in the spring loaded extended position but rather be fully retracted and it would begin to spin in circles. We contacted support and after about 5 emails which took about a day between responses, we had to submit videos of the issue and was finally given a UPS shipping label to send the unit back for repair since it was under warranty. DON’T THROW AWAY THE BOX IT SHIPPED IN! They want you to re-box the item to send back to them after making sure it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected…..which we did. After a few weeks we finally received our “repaired” unit back and were excited to set it back up, as when it works, it really does an amazing job. However, as soon as it started its first cleaning task, it again had the exact same issues it had previously and was completely worthless. So, we again went through the process of sending it back once again and we were asked to send it in once more for repair. They offered a $20 gift certificate for their products as well as 2 new mop pads (which you can buy in bulk off Amazon for about $1.15 apiece). We told them we didn’t need any compensation or gifts and just wanted a different unit. Since it was now past 30 days beyond its purchase, we were offered a refurbished unit. We were 100% fine with this as long as it worked as it should. We were sent a message saying a new unit would be shipped to us and that was it. No tracking number etc and it has now been about two weeks and nothing. After inquiring again, we’re told it was being escalated to their “professional team” to find out the status and have heard absolutely nothing since. We bought our V50 in mid February of this year and began the whole process of trying to get it fixed on April 17th. It is now the first week of June and we still have had no success and don’t even have a unit in our possession any longer. When we purchased ours they were selling for $899 as they hadn’t lowered the price yet. So far we’ve paid the better part of a thousand bucks to not even have a robot vac in our possession. And by the way, every single time you send an email to the company, you will get an AI response from a different generic name. No matter how many times you ask for an actual representative to call or to be given a number to speak with an actual real person, you will not be given any info or a call. You’ll just get referred to their support number that is for helping you set up the unit etc. We are still patiently waiting on our refurbished unit. Hopefully you will have better luck than we have. As a side note, when it works as it’s supposed to, the V50 does an amazing job. Unfortunately, we’ve only gotten the benefit of its use for about a month and a half.
Man, I really wish this wasn’t a normal thing but I got my replacement in today and the thing is COMPLETELY broken and even worse 🤦‍♂️ I got back what was supposed to be a new dock but it had dirt and grime in it and it doesn’t charge at all. Fun times. Now waiting to hear back again after a month of waiting

Hello, sorry for my late reply. I’m truly sorry to hear that your V50 has suffered from various malfunctions and you’ve had such a terrible after-sales experience. Anyone would be extremely frustrated to spend nearly $900 on a robot that only worked properly for a short period, and then waste so much time and energy on repeated repair procedures. we sincerely apologize for the poor after-sales service you received. Please feel free to share any additional information related to your order.
