Zone Maintenance Pain

Here is an example of something that is a PIA. You have a map with three zones left to right, zone 1, 2 & 3.  For whatever you need to adjust the size of zone 2. After you complete the outline of the zone when you attempt to save it you will get a message (thought I’d grabbed a screenshot, but can’t find it) basically saying that you can’t add the zone in because it is in between two zones.

The only solution is, that you need to drop zone three then re-create your zones 2 & 3.

Hello, you may adjust the zones on the map by following these steps:
Enter the zone editing page and select the target zone you need to adjust;
Tap [Line] to bring up the split line. Drag the two endpoints to adjust its direction freely. Tap [Rotate] to spin the split line 360°, and tap [Delete] to remove the split line directly;
Select the split line to finish splitting the zone.
Warm reminder: Splitting will fail if:
① The split sub-zone is too small;
② The split line has no intersection with the target zone;
③ The split line intersects the target zone at more than two points.

Maybe your solution will work but it's doesn't sound like it to me.  I already deleted a good zone (3) in order to create zone 2, then recreated zone 3.  Extra work in early morning 90 degrees weather.  

Your software should be able to handle the situation I described about where I have a zone 1 on the left and zone 2 on the right and I want to create a zone 2 that touches both zone 1 and 3.  Your software currently can't handle that situation.
