Hi!
Still love Trixie the Turfmaster 90+ days in - esp. during the terrible heatwave we're experiencing...she continues to be a beast!!
I'm still learning as well...is there a way to edit an existing map without creating a new Zone and/or Map? As stated, I'm still learning - esp. with joysticks and using my phone with incredibly small, light font/background to do it...my boundary lines are crooked due to my edging and my wildlife loving to dig holes - esp. on edges!! I had to delete my Map 1 with 2 Zones, paths, etc. to "straighten out" the boundaries and remap/rezone all.
I would love to NOT have to completely delete the largest Map 2 with 1 zone/path to straighten Map 2 out - using no go zones doesn't work, "editing" doesn't seem to work unless you first delete it all...what am I missing? Any/all comments are more than welcome!!
Hello! You can actually use the map editor and the “set zone” feature and then just manually drive the mower around the part you want to add. It will merge together assuming you close the loop correctly. It’s not super intuitive but it does work!
Hello, if you need to create multiple zones, please follow the steps below:
Make sure your phone is connected to the robot via Bluetooth. Manually drive the mower to the lawn edge of the new zone, tap "Set Start Point" in the APP, then steer the robot all the way around the perimeter of the new zone. The zone outline will be displayed synchronously in the APP.
When the robot returns near the starting point, tap "Close Outline" in the APP to finish creating the zone. You may proceed to create more zones or exit the creation mode.
Tips:
Keep connecting passages between every zone;
Overlapping zones will be automatically merged into one single zone.
If you want to finish mapping quickly, we recommend turning on the "AI Auto Boundary Recognition" function. Please stay with the robot the whole time after enabling it to guarantee safety and accurate recognition.
If any abnormality occurs during recognition, you can exit auto mode and switch to manual control at any time. If the recognized boundary is incorrect, you can also exit midway and use the erase function to remove unwanted tracks by remote control.
Once the map is generated, enter the "Map Editor" page to expand the map, split zones and make other adjustments.
Hope these instructions work for you. Feel free to message us privately if you have further questions.
