I finally picked up the MOVA MMGM30 Garage for my LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD mower. Installation took maybe 10 minutes from opening the box to having it fully assembled.
A few first impressions:
✅ This model is specifically designed for the MOVA AWD mower lineup and would likely be excessive for other models.
✅ As always, MOVA's packaging was excellent. Everything was well protected and organized. Their quick start guides are always appreciated!
✅ I appreciated that they included extra stakes and screws in case one gets lost or damaged down the road. It's a small detail, but one that shows they thought ahead.
✅ It's entirely plastic and surprisingly lightweight, but it has a clean, modern look that matches the mower really well. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up after a few Indiana summers.
I always like sharing both the good and the bad, so here are a couple thoughts after installation.
❌ One thing that could be improved: the quick start guide never explains exactly where to position the garage. Since it doesn't attach to the charging station, I wasn't sure if I should prioritize covering the charging station, the mower, or both. (Fortunately, you can position it to protect both.) A simple diagram in the instructions would have made setup much more confidence inspiring.
💰 Even with a coupon and discount, I do think the $269 MSRP is a little on the expensive side.
💡 My wish for a future version: I'd love to see a small built-in storage compartment (or even an optional accessory) for extra blades, screws, a cleaning brush, or microfiber cloth. I put together a quick mockup of what that could look like.
Overall, I still think it's a worthwhile accessory. These mowers are a significant investment, and anything that helps protect them from constant sun, rain, and the elements should help keep them looking and performing their best for years to come.
