Good morning, we are sorry to hear your robot is having docking‑return issues. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Check whether the charging dock plug is loose and make sure the dock is powered on properly.
Place the robot 1‑2 meters in front of the charging dock and short‑press the return‑to‑dock button to test docking performance.
‑ If it still fails to dock, we recommend sending the unit in for inspection.
‑ If docking works, please verify these environmental conditions:
① The charging dock must be placed against the wall. Leave at least 5 cm of space on its left and right sides, and keep the area within 1.5 meters in front free of obstacles.
② Keep the charging dock away from signal‑interfering devices such as routers and TVs.
③ Avoid reflective surfaces like mirrors or glass windows directly opposite the charging dock.
When the robot starts a cleaning job from the dock, observe the LDS laser sensor on top of the unit and confirm it spins normally.
Watch the full cleaning run to check if the drive wheels slip, get jammed or get trapped.
After finishing the above checks, reboot the robot and run another cleaning cycle to test docking.
If you have repositioned the charging dock, place the robot onto the dock first before starting a cleaning task from the base station.
If the problem persists after rebooting, reset the robot, move the charging dock to an open unobstructed spot, and retest cleaning and docking.
