Three dots in the top right hand corner when you are viewing your map > Device Information > Area Unit > change to sq. ft

Please open your map view in the App. Tap the three‑dot icon in the top‑right corner → Device Information → Area Unit, then select sq. ft.
After changing the setting, refresh the page and the area will display in square feet.
