[Z60 Ultra Roller SA] Weird noise

I just received my robot, but when it’s cleaning, there is a constant clicking sound that is very loud and just does not sound like a normal sound. Any ideas what this clicking could be?

What model do you have? Do you have the TriCut brush with it? I have heard others say sometimes the brush is not seated right and can make a clicking noise. Try making sure the brush is free of debris and is able to be spun/looks properly installed!

Hello, regarding the clicking noise coming from the device during operation, you may try the following troubleshooting steps:

• If the working noise is unusually loud:

Please check whether the suction level in the app is set to high. A higher suction level will naturally produce a louder operating sound.
If Carpet Boost Mode is enabled, the robot will automatically increase the suction when it detects a carpet, which also leads to louder noise.

• If there is an abnormal clicking or unusual sound:

Please remove the side brush and the main brush cover, then start the robot to observe the sound.

If the noise returns to normal:
① Reinstall the side brush and restart the robot. If abnormal noise appears again, please check whether the side brush is deformed.
② If the side brush works normally after installation: the rubber strip on the new main brush cover may create friction with the floor during initial use. This is normal and should improve after several uses.
③ If the noise appears after installing the main brush, please remove it and check whether hair is tangled at either end. When reinstalling the brush cover, make sure all four clips are securely in place.

Please also check whether the roller mop shaft or the fluffy roller shaft has hair tangled around it. If so, clean it according to the user manual and check again after reinstallation.

If the noise does NOT return to normal:
① With the robot powered off, press down on the drive wheels on both sides and slide them back and forth to check whether they rotate smoothly and can rebound properly. Clean them if needed.
② Rotate the universal wheel manually to see if it moves smoothly. Clean it if it is stuck.
③ If the filter component was washed with water, please ensure it is completely dry before use. A wet filter may cause abnormal operating sounds.

If the issue persists
We kindly recommend sending the device SN, purchase invoice, and a video showing the noise issue to our after‑sales team so that we can provide further assistance and a targeted solution.
