[P10 Pro Ultra] Well, it was great while it lasted

My vacuum finished its morning chores, docked itself, and then went to sleep. Permanently. Nothing seems to be working to get it to come back on. The dock definitely has power and its seated correctly. No lights. Holding down the power button does nothing. Its had hours to charge.

Its only 5 days old. Anyone else have this happen? I'm wondering if a firmware updated bricked it, but the app won't let you see much when its offline.

If it’s only 5 days old, I can’t imagine a firmware update caused that. Are you sure the charging pins are lining up with the vacuum correctly and not being blocked, i.e. it is completely drained of battery?

Yes, I re-seated it multiple times. It also said it was charging when it docked itself.

I haven't had it long enough for much to get dirty but yes, I did check that. Also contacted support and they had me send a video to prove its really dead.

Seems the only option is to ship it in and wait for it to be repaired. Not doing that when it's a brand new item. So back to Amazon it goes. ...and time to start researching robots again. Depressing.
