Just got the Mova Z60 delivered today. For context, I have been using Robot vacuums for a long time. The current model I have been using for more than a year is the Ecovacs T20 Omni (see attached picture). So, in the next few posts, I will be comparing the two. The reason I decided to try the Z60 is that I have been having some issues with the Ecovacs. It often gets stuck on my bathroom mats, cables, and furniture. Hair tangles are super common on the main and side brushes (I don't have pets). The mopping honestly isn't that good, and it gets moisture on my bathroom rugs.
Saw some recent good reviews on the Mova, so decided to try it out. In this post, I will be going over the setup and unboxing process. The vacuum arrived double-boxed: an outer brown box, then the actual Mova black box. The outer box had some damage, but the inner box was fine. The vacuum itself was well packaged and compartmentalized. The setup process was honestly a breeze. I did not expect it to go so well. The robot connected to my phone easily. The app instructions were clear. In the past, I had some trouble getting the device to connect to Wi-Fi. No issues here!
