Just wanted to share a quick update after finally getting everything fully set up. My robot is now up and running and I’m really enjoying it so far.
One unexpected thing is that my kids absolutely love it. It has kind of become their little “cleaning buddy.” Sometimes they even tear up small pieces of paper on purpose just to watch the robot detect them and clean everything up. It’s actually pretty impressive how quickly it picks up the debris.
Another situation where it’s been super helpful is after coming back from the beach. We often go to Pillar Point Harbor / Half Moon Bay, and when we get home there’s usually sand everywhere — on the floor, near the door, and sometimes spread around the living room. Now I just start the robot before heading out or while we’re getting settled, and by the time we’re done, the floors are clean again.
I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by the battery life. Most of the time it finishes cleaning the whole place and either still has battery left or has already returned to the dock and started charging itself.
Overall it really feels like a fully automated cleaning pal, and so far we’re really enjoying having it in the house.
