This unit was provided for testing and review. The experience below reflects my personal use and observations during the first few days of setup and testing.
Introduction
I recently received the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete and have been putting it through its first few days of testing. I am not new to robot vacuums, but this is easily the most advanced one I have owned so far. It is also my first robot vacuum that includes a true mopping system, so I was very interested to see how it compares to the units I already use.
For context, we currently have two other robot vacuums in the house. One is a Shark model with mapping and self-emptying that costs around $400, and the other is a basic Eufy 25C that runs about $125 and focuses on simple vacuuming without many advanced features. My wife is a meteorologist and likes giving them weather-themed names. The Eufy is called Mesocyclone, the Shark is Vortex, and the new MOVA quickly earned the name Ground Scrubber.
What the Product Claims
The MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete is designed to vacuum and mop floors automatically using a roller-style mopping system. It includes advanced mapping, obstacle detection, automatic mop cleaning, and a self-servicing dock. The system is built to handle both dry debris and floor washing in one automated cleaning cycle.
How I Tested It
The first few days were focused on setup, mapping runs, and initial vacuum testing around the house. Our home is roughly 2,000 square feet, so I expected it would take a few passes to fully map everything and learn the layout.
During these early runs, I allowed the robot to navigate most rooms while observing how it handled furniture, thresholds, and typical household clutter. I also explored the mobile app features and tested some of the built-in camera and monitoring functions.
One area I am especially interested in is the sliding door threshold leading into our sunroom. Our other robots struggle to cross it, so I will be watching closely to see if the Z60 handles that transition better.
Results and Experience
During unboxing, I immediately noticed that MOVA includes far more accessories than most robot vacuums. In addition to the robot and dock, the package included a large bottle of cleaning solution, a pet-specific cleaning solution, three extra dust bags, three replacement mop rollers, additional filters, extra roller brushes, and two spare side brush arms. That is significantly more than either of our previous robots included, and it means replacement parts should not be needed for quite some time.
The robot itself also feels noticeably more substantial than our other units. The build quality and overall size make it feel more capable right away.
One feature I appreciated immediately was the built-in front light. With our other robots, we usually turn on lights so they can navigate properly, but the Z60 includes its own illumination for darker areas.
While exploring the app, I discovered a few features I had not expected. The robot includes a camera that can be accessed through the app, allowing you to remotely drive the robot around the house. It essentially doubles as a mobile camera, which is surprisingly entertaining. I can already see myself occasionally checking in at home or teasing my wife a little while I am at work.
There is also a pet monitoring option. Through the camera, you can watch your pets, speak through the robot using two way audio, or play preset sounds to get their attention. The system can also capture photos or short video clips when it detects a pet during a cleaning run. That feature can be enabled or disabled depending on your preference.
Another thing that stood out during the first few runs is how quiet it is. Compared with Mesocyclone and Vortex, the Z60 runs noticeably quieter. Our dogs usually dislike robot vacuums and tend to avoid them, but they seem far less bothered by this one. They definitely notice it moving around, but it does not startle them or chase them around the way some other robots have in the past.
Pros
• Very generous set of included accessories and replacement parts
• Solid build quality compared to smaller robot vacuums
• Built in front light helps with navigation in low light areas
• Camera and remote driving feature adds useful monitoring capability
• Pet monitoring functions with two way audio and alerts
• Noticeably quieter than other robot vacuums in the house
Cons
• Large dock requires a decent amount of space (not a problem for us though)
Price and Value
Based on the features and accessories included, the Z60 appears to offer strong value within the premium robot vacuum category. The included replacement parts and cleaning supplies also help reduce additional costs early on.
Future Updates:
More updates will follow as I continue testing obstacle handling, threshold performance, and the mopping system across different areas of the house.
