Living in an older home in Mississippi means dealing with beautiful but challenging natural vintage parquet. The gaps between the wood planks are quite deep, making them a magnet for microscopic dust and pet dander that is so hard to reach.
Today, I decided to put the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller(received for free in the #GetYourZ60 Event ) to the ultimate "Crevice Test." I used baby powder to simulate ultra-fine dust particles. This was a dry-only test (mop disabled) to focus purely on suction power.
The Experiment:
* Photo 1 & 2: My Maine Coon supervising the setup. You can see how deep those floor gaps really are next to his paws.
* Photo 3 & 4: I sprinkled the powder directly into the cracks. The Z60 approached with its LED headlights on, looking like a high-tech detective.
* Photo 5 (Pass 1): After the first pass, the surface was spotless, but powder remained deep in the crevices.
* Photo 6 (Pass 2): After the second pass, the white lines in the cracks significantly faded. The Z60 was literally "inhaling" the dust from the depths.
* Photo 7 (Pass 3): After the third pass, the deep gaps are almost entirely clear. Only a few tiny specks remain in the deepest pits.
*
My Conclusion:
Although I had to send the bot to clean three times the same spot on the max suction mode, I am still impressed. Most robots only clean the surface, but the Z60’s 28,000 Pa suction actually reaches into the floor. This is a game-changer for anyone with old hardwood or allergy sufferers. It proves that the "Extreme Suction" isn't just a marketing slogan — it's real vertical lift power.
I’m providing this review as part of the MOVA GetYourZ60 program, and I can say: if it can pull fine powder out of these cracks, it can handle anything!
I can’t wait to see the mop in action!
