One thing I’ve really come to appreciate with the Z60 is how good the app experience is. I’ve used quite a few robot vacuums over the years, and this is honestly one of the best apps I’ve seen. It does a great job recognizing different floor types like hardwood and carpet, and the maps are very detailed. I also like how it shows the cleaning progress in real time and then displays the full path afterward with the white lines so you can see exactly where it cleaned.
In this example I tested the spot cleaning feature using the map in the app. The carpet area was automatically recognized, so I simply tapped it and started a quick clean. The robot left the base station, drove directly to the carpet, and started cleaning right away.
As soon as it reached the carpet you could hear the suction increase automatically, which helps it do a better job pulling debris out of the fibers. After finishing the spot clean it returned straight back to the dock on its own.
It was fast, efficient, and really easy to trigger from the app. Features like this make it very convenient when you just want to clean one specific area instead of running a full house cleaning cycle.
