Quick heads up: MOVA sent me this Z60 through their Get & Create program to try out and review, but these thoughts are 100% my own and truthful.
For the large part, I have had a great experience using the Z60 (see my other posts for reference). One notable challenge for the Z60 and I imagine most other robot vacuums is how to handle a mirror. In one sense, it’s actually impressive that it attempts to map out the area it believes exists in the mirror. But obviously this can be a little annoying.
I don't want to be too hard on the Z60 here - I’m pretty sure that mirrors are tricky for any robot vacuum to handle. Hopefully, future updates will give it the ability to recognize and ignore mirrored surfaces. With that being said, MOVA’s app makes it very easy to partition the map as necessary and hide areas that you don’t want the robot vacuum to identify and clean. Therefore, in the end, it’s not a huge immediate concern but certainly room for improvement.
*Note: The middle picture is a photo taken using the Z60's live camera monitor feature. The camera is directly facing the mirror in question. TranslateView Original Text
