My Honest Z60 Review

### Overall cleaning performance
After using Z60 every day in my home, I feel ready to share a honest overall review. It has been very impressive to me in daily use. It does a great job on my tile floors, around the cat litter box, and on bedroom carpet.

### Easy setup and fast mapping
Getting Z60 ready was simple. The quick start guide walked me through placing the base, plugging it in, and connecting the vacuum to the app, and I had everything set up within a few minutes. The first mapping run was also fast, it moved through my home quickly and created a clear map that I could easily edit by renaming rooms, merging areas, or splitting spaces for custom cleaning.

### Base station and maintenance
One of my favorite things is how much the base station does on its own. The dust bag is sealed, so I don’t notice any smell even with two cats, and auto‑empty has kept the dust bin and the inside of the robot surprisingly clean. The detergent tank is easy to refill, and the built‑in detergent dispenser means I don’t have to measure cleaning solution or pour it into a small tank every time. The app also tracks accessory usage and reminds me when brushes or filters need attention, which makes maintenance simple.

### Pet features and daily pet use
For a pet home, the Pet Care section in the app is a nice bonus. It can mark pet zones on the map and do more focused cleaning there, which is great around my litter area. There’s also a “pet moments” feature that’s supposed to capture pet photos or gifs when the robot sees them. In my case, I haven’t gotten any actual photos of my cats yet, but I do see plenty of pet gifs in the app, so I hope this feature can keep improving because the idea is really fun.

### Obstacle climbing and carpet results
I also tested some of the more advanced features, like obstacle climbing. The robot can lift itself and climb over a board at my bedroom doorway without any special ramp setting, and it has no problem going back over the board when returning to the dock. Once it is on the bedroom carpet, it automatically increases the suction power and does a thorough clean, starting from the edges and then covering the whole area. The very corners don’t get as much attention because the side brush doesn’t extend or spin on carpet, which makes sense since that brush is mainly for hard floors, but overall the carpet still looks and feels really clean.

### Noise
Noise level has been better than I expected. From regular cleaning to auto empty, it is noticeably quieter than some of my past robot vacuums, which makes it easier to run while I’m working or when my cats are nearby.

### Wish list, and final thoughts
There are still a couple of things on my wish list: I really hope to see a true auto drain and refill kit for the clean and dirty water tanks so I don’t have to empty and refill them by hand, and I still wish the robot were a bit thinner so it could clean under more of my cabinets.
Overall, though, I’m happy with the Z60. It has handled my daily pet household very well, keeps the floors looking clean with minimal effort from me, and offers a lot of thoughtful features in both the hardware and the app. For my needs, the cleaning performance and convenience outweigh the small downsides, and I’m planning to keep using it as my main robot vacuum and mop.
