Hey guys! I wanted to make a post featuring some videos of the LDS lowering feature. Many “top-tier” robots have the ability to lower the LDS, but being able to set a low-clearance zone helps a lot when it comes to making sure you pick up every little piece of trash and food on the floor. In the videos I mentioned, I’ll be making posts about the real-world functionality of the robot, and the second video showcases exactly that. I also have screenshots for anyone wondering what to expect when going into the settings, including the settings I used for the Z60.
Overall, the low-clearance mode has been helpful, very thorough, and works as intended so good job to the MOVA team for that! I will also be making more videos, such as the side-extending mop in action and the robot’s “lunge” function when going over barriers.
