Room cleaning task "complete" never left the Dock

When I did my first mapping and then cleaning it worked except didn't try to clean one closet.  I've tried editing the map with floor types etc. but I can't get the robot to go to the closet to clean.  This morning I tried to send it to just 1 room at a time and it's went to one bedroom and only cleaned under the bed.  It then said the cleaning was complete and returned to the dock.  I tried another room and it just pulled off the dock and ran the suction for a while and then didn't do anything else but say Cleaning complete and returned to the dock.

Any help would be appreciated.  I don't want to have to box this up and return it after just one day.

There appear to be a lot of settings related to carpet and floor types that can cause the V50 to not work right.  I'm trying to get my Map setup so I can tell the V50 to Vacuum or Vacuum, then Mop on a room by room basis.  I want the V50 to leave the mops in the Dock went vacuuming a carpeted area.  

I also think that defining an Area rug seems to make the V50 avoid the rug when on a Vacuum then mop run.  I can't seem to find a BKM for how to setup my Map so the V50 can know what I want it to do.  This is a very steep learning curve.

Hello,

Please make sure there are no carpets in front of or around the base station, as this may prevent the robot from leaving the dock to complete mopping tasks.

Any obstacles blocking the robot’s path could also cause it to end the cleaning task prematurely.

To set the robot to avoid carrying the mop when cleaning carpeted areas, go to:  
Settings > Carpet Settings > Remove Mop on Carpet.
