Testing the Pet Monitoring Feature on the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete (love this feature)

Product Name
MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete (Ground Scrubber)

Quick Rating For Pet Monitoring
⭐ 4.8 / 5

Introduction
Today I spent some time testing the pet monitoring feature on the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete. This was not something I originally bought it for, and I did not even realize it was included when I ordered it, so I went into this with pretty low expectations.

What the Product Claims

The Z60 includes a built-in camera with remote control access through the app. It allows you to drive the robot manually, monitor pets, use two-way audio, and trigger preset sounds. There is also a “find pets” feature that helps locate pets automatically during a run.

How I Tested It

I used the app to manually drive the robot around the house while checking in on my dogs, Allie and Dragon.

• Manual driving mode through the app
• Two-way audio for interaction
• Tested preset sounds
• Used the “find pets” feature briefly

Results and Experience

The manual driving feature worked well and was easy to control. I was able to steer the robot around the house and check on my dogs without much effort. Being able to talk to them through the robot while not being in the same room is a nice added feature.

One thing that stood out right away was that my dogs were not bothered by it. They are usually a bit skittish, especially around moving objects, but since they are already used to the robot vacuum, they did not react negatively. I was able to drive right up to them without them running away, which made the feature much more useful.

The preset sounds did not get much of a reaction from them, but that likely depends on the dog. Allie showed a bit more interest, while Dragon did not seem to care much at all. I did get a few head tilts when approaching them, which was honestly pretty entertaining.

I also tried the “find pets” feature. It worked, but in my case, it was quicker to just manually drive the robot since I usually know where they are anyway.

One important detail is that the robot announces “Camera Monitoring” out loud every few seconds while the camera is active. This makes it very clear to anyone in the house that the camera is in use, which is a good privacy feature.

Pros
• Easy to manually drive through the app
• Two-way audio works well for interacting with pets
• Dogs were not startled or scared by the robot
• “Find pets” feature adds convenience
• Built-in audio announcement adds privacy awareness

Cons
• Manual control can be quicker than automated pet finding in some cases

I will continue using this feature occasionally to see how useful it is over time and whether it becomes part of my regular routine or just something I use now and then.
