Ground Scrubber

Edge Cleaning Performance on the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete

Product Name
MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete (Ground Scrubber)

Quick Rating for the Edge Cleaning on the MOVA Z60
⭐ 4.6 / 5

Introduction
One area I had not really focused on in my earlier posts is edge and corner cleaning. After using the Z60 more consistently, this has become one of the standout differences compared to the other robot vacuums I own.

What the Product Claims
The Z60 is designed to improve edge and corner cleaning by extending its brush arm and adjusting the mop position to reach areas that are typically missed. It also includes customizable cleaning settings through the app.

How I Tested It
This is based on regular cleaning runs across multiple rooms in my home.

• Compared performance against my Shark and Eufy robots
• Observed edge and corner cleaning during normal cycles

Results and Experience
Both my Eufy and Shark have two side brushes to help push debris toward the suction path, but they still struggle with corners and tight edges. There are always small blind spots that require follow-up cleaning.

Ground Scrubber approaches this differently. Instead of relying only on brush placement, it actually extends its arm to reach further into edges and corners. The mop also adjusts to maintain coverage along edges, which helps reduce the areas that usually get missed.

Even though it only has a single brush arm compared to the dual brush setup on my other robots, the extended reach makes a noticeable difference. It does a better job getting into corners and along walls, which reduces the need for manual touch-up cleaning afterward.

Another feature I have been experimenting with is the level of control in the app. The MOVA Home app allows you to adjust how tight the cleaning pattern is, from a quicker pass to a more detailed cleaning. You can also adjust how much water is used during mopping.

This level of control is something my other robots do not offer. With those, you just start a cleaning cycle and let them run with their default behavior. Here, you can fine-tune how thorough you want the cleaning to be.

There is also an option to set custom cleaning preferences for each room. I have not fully used that feature yet, but it could be useful for dialing in different settings depending on the space.

Pros
• Extended brush arm improves corner and edge reach
• Mop adjusts to maintain edge-to-edge coverage
• Reduces missed spots compared to typical robot vacuums
• Customizable cleaning intensity and pattern spacing
• Adjustable water levels for mopping
• Per-room customization available

Cons
• Single brush design may seem like a drawback at first
• Advanced settings may take time to fully explore
• Per-room customization may be unnecessary for some users

Price and Value (considering the Edge Cleaning on the MOVA Z60)

The improved edge cleaning and added control through the app help justify the higher-end positioning of the Z60. These features reduce the need for manual cleanup and allow for more tailored cleaning, which adds practical value over simpler robot vacuums.

Overall, the edge cleaning performance has been one of the more impressive aspects of the Z60 so far. It handles corners and edges better than the other robots I own, and the added control through the app gives more flexibility depending on how detailed you want each cleaning cycle to be.
