Brush & roller maintenance

Hi:

I have been testing the Z60 for about 2 weeks.  I have 2 dogs that seem to do a great job of getting things on the floor.  They like to go out and come in with muddy paws; it's shedding season and they are doing a great job of leaving their fur on the floor; and Jack is a terror with his toys and frequently pulls the fluff and strings from his toys.  As a result, I have been running the Z60 daily.  After 2 weeks, I decided to see how much of what it picked up was caught under the roller mop or tangled around the brushes.  I assumed there would be a considerable amount since I haven't checked it for the 2 weeks.

I was amazed at how little was actually there.  The Z60 was able to pick up the fluff, the fur and the strings and get it into the dustbag and not get it wrapped around the wheels or tangled in the brushes.  The settings I use since I have the dogs is under Pet Cleaning.  I have the auto-empty settings at Intelligent and the Hair Compression feature turned on.

I've included pictures of the sections as I removed the edge brush, the orange/black brushes and the roller mop.  The first photo is when I first turned it over before cleaning.  I expected fur and stuff on the wheels, maybe clinging to the underside, but it was amazingly clean.  I was very impressed.  I removed the edge brush and you can see in the photo there is zero hair or string wrapped around the brush.  Under the roller mop there was some dust in the vents.  That was easily removed with just my finger, then I wiped it out of the unit with a damp paper towel.  You can see some dust and fur wrapped around the end of the orange/black brush but it was minimal and there was nothing tangled in these brushes.  The final picture shows the total amount of dirt I cleaned out from those 3 areas.

To be honest, I really expected to have a lot more to clean than that.  I really expected under the roller mop and orange/black brush there would be fluff from the toys.  This is just standard fiberfill and while I tried to pick it all up before the Z60 cleaned, I knew I didn't get it all.  But none of it was around the brushes or mop.  It all went into the dustbag.  I knew the Z60 was filling the dustbag, but I never expected it to get as much into the bag as it did.

I have been very very pleased with the Z60 performance.
