I wanted to share a quick comparison that does not get talked about enough. Weekly maintenance.
In this video, I am showing the difference in how the MOVA V50 Ultra, MOVA Z60 Ultra, and MOVA P10 Ultra Gen 2 handle filter cleaning and overall upkeep.
The V50 and P10 use the same general design. The top portion of the filter comes out, but the base is built into the unit. That means you are still having to clean part of the system in place. It is not difficult, but it does take more time, and it also means more time down on the floor trying to get everything cleaned out. For someone who has a bad lower back, like myself, too much time on the floor leaning over is not ideal...if I want to get up on my own...lol.
The Z60 is different. The entire filter and base plate come out as one piece. I will be honest, it took me a minute to figure that out…lol. But once I did, it made a big difference.
Being able to remove the whole assembly makes cleaning faster, easier, and a lot less messy. It honestly cut my weekly maintenance time in half.
This is one of those small design differences that does not seem like a big deal until you are actually using it week after week. If you are trying to minimize how much time you spend maintaining these systems (or if you have the knees and lower back of a 90 year old...haha), this is definitely something to pay attention to.
I was selected as a MOVA community tester for the V50 Ultra, they sent this one out for testing. I also bought the Z60 Ultra and P10 Ultra myself so I could compare all three. TranslateView Original Text
