After finishing the first full cleaning cycle with Vorticity, I spent some time going through the MOVA Home app to see how much information it actually provided. I expected the usual cleaning history and map overview, but there was a lot more detail than I anticipated.

How I Tested It
This is based on the first full vacuum and mopping cycle across my home.

Results and Experience
One of the first things the app pointed out was that several rooms had been skipped. In my case, this was expected because I had intentionally closed off the sunroom and one of the bathrooms. I appreciated that the app recognized those areas as uncleaned and gave me the option to send the robot back later if needed.
The app also suggested carpet areas that it thought should be added to the map. One of the rugs it identified had already been mapped correctly, so I left it alone, but it was interesting to see the system actively trying to improve the map layout.
The obstacle reporting was probably the most impressive part. After the cleaning cycle, the app showed the obstacles it encountered and categorized them. It recognized things like cords, objects, pets, and larger debris. The robot also captured images of these obstacles, which is genuinely useful. Being able to check if there is a forgotten object under the couch or a dog toy hidden somewhere odd is a nice bonus feature.
The same reporting carried over into the mopping cycle. One thing I noticed is that it skipped my office while mopping, likely because the room is carpeted. I actually consider that a positive result since I would rather it avoid carpet than risk dragging wet pads across it.
The mapping is still clearly learning and refining itself, but it already feels functional and useful after the first run.
Battery performance was also solid overall. Vacuuming and mopping my entire 2,000-square-foot home required two recharge-and-resume cycles over a total runtime of about 336 minutes. That worked out to roughly two hours per charge.
I have not personally owned a robot vacuum that could handle my full home in a single charge, so seamless recharge and resume is the next best thing, and the V50 handled it smoothly.

Overall, I have been very happy with how the MOVA Home app and the V50 work together so far. The level of detail and feedback is much more advanced than what I have experienced with other robot vacuums, and it already feels like the system is improving with each cleaning cycle.
