[Z60 Ultra Complete] Mop shield malfunctioning

My mop shield was malfunctioning,  only going in halfway, thereby preventing the mob from actually mopping. I followed all the instructions for how to  clean and  remedy this issue but none of it worked. The only solution to keep the vacuum working was to just pull the mop cover completely out of the vacuum, pretty much removing the feature that it has for covering itself when going over carpet. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this a known issue at Mova?

Usually the first things to try are removing and reinstalling the mop cover, cleaning around the tracks/latching points, and checking for any debris or buildup that could be preventing full movement. It sounds like you’re halfway to completing that process!!

Hello! We’re very sorry for the inconvenience. The jammed roller cover is usually caused by built-up dirt after prolonged use. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Refer to the disassembly diagram on the bottom of the unit, push the orange lock on the right side of the roller, then grip the handles on both sides of the roller cover and pull it out.
Clean the dirt from the gaps in the cover with a suitable cleaning tool, then reinstall the cover and lock it back into place.
If you don’t have carpets at home, you can also remove the cover and store it separately — this won’t affect the sweeping function.
If the jam still occurs after these steps, please contact our after-sales team directly at support@mova-tech.com, and we’ll assist you further.
