Mova v50 stepmaster system failed within 1 month. The mova v50 seemed to have a great obstacle crossing mechanism where it lifted up these tiny arms under the wheel to raise the front end of the robot just like other popular robots. However unlike my z60 the arms on this v50 have failed within 1 month of use. Earlier today after crossing a threshold all my robots have had no problem with the arm got stuck and did not return to the neutral position. I only noticed because the robot struggled to get back on the dock endlessly backing up and chattering because the arm was in the way. I let it cross the threshold again as I did not want to force the arm back into place and it has been either unable to lift the unit up or it successfully lifted up the front of the robot but fails to put itself back again. I even have seen that same wheel now get stuck and not be able to extend at all causing the wheel to run against the plastic and squeak pretty badly. It seems like maybe the motor is slipping or is too weak to properly put the arm in and out of the correct position. As you can see when I turn the unit over and then it starts putting the arm away. And when the arm is correctly seated then the wheel pops back out.
