This is now around day 30 of using the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete, and I wanted to share a more realistic update on an issue I started noticing late last week. The vacuum initially seemed to be running normally, but after several cleaning cycles, I realized it was no longer consistently picking up debris and in some cases was spreading smaller debris back across the floor instead of fully removing it.
The first portion of the video included here was originally recorded and sent to MOVA customer support so they could better see what was happening during a cleaning cycle. The second portion was from another test I ran this morning after continuing to work through the troubleshooting suggestions they provided.
I’ve since reached out to customer support, and they did escalate the issue fairly quickly. They also provided several troubleshooting suggestions for me to work through. While waiting for additional follow-up, I’ve continued repeating those troubleshooting steps multiple times, but so far it still has not remedied the issue.
What makes this frustrating is that the V50 Ultra Complete honestly started out very promising, which is why I still believe this is more likely a fluke issue with this particular situation rather than representative of the overall product experience. Prior to this, it had been performing very well in our home, and that is part of why this sudden change stood out so clearly.
At this point, I’m still waiting to hear back regarding a more permanent solution, but I’ll continue updating on both the issue itself and MOVA’s willingness to work toward correcting it. In the most recent portion of the video, you can still see debris being left behind and redistributed during the cleaning cycle instead of being fully collected.
