Great Soap = Great Shine!

The V50 Ultra Complete uses a small amount of detergent while mopping. The reservoir slot is to the left of the dust bag, located behind the front silver cover. Detergent can be added via the following steps:

1) Remove the front cover. This is affixed with a rubber gasket to ensure the dust bag receives sufficient air pressure when emptying the vacuum's dust bin. Simply pull with little effort to remove it.
2) Pull the gray reservoir box from the dock. Ensure not to tilt it!
3) Open the flap of the detergent type you need to refill.
4) Slowly pour the detergent into the fill hole until it's just below the edge of the container. It needs room for the rubberized lid to insert so it seals to prevent leaks.
5) Close the lid, then follow the previous steps in reverse.

Note how much is still available in the pictured reservoirs. I've only ever filled the pet side (right) once, with the included pet soap. The regular detergent side (left) was about halfway full when I last filled it, which was several weeks ago. The V50's smart detergent usage mode uses only what it needs for the task at hand, so you won't find yourself purchasing refills very often. Despite the excellent mopping of this device, it's quite affordable to maintain!
