[P10 Pro Ultra] Sidebrush

Is the sidebrush supposed to be spinning when it’s vacuuming? Mine doesn’t spin when it’s vacuuming 🤔

Yes, the side brush should normally spin while the robot is vacuuming (depending on the model and assuming you aren’t on carpet). A few things to check first: make sure the side brush isn’t tangled with hair or debris, confirm it’s fully snapped into place, and try running the robot in a stronger suction or edge-cleaning mode since some cleaning modes reduce side brush activity.

If the brush still never spins during a cleaning cycle, try powering the robot off completely and restarting it. If that doesn’t change anything, it could be a side brush motor issue and it would be worth reaching out to MOVA Support for troubleshooting or warranty help.

To make sure the brush extends, you can go to the frequency setting in AI-driven MopExtend SideReach and set it to 'High Frequency.'

Hello, please try the following steps to resolve your issue:

Check if the side brush is deformed or entangled with foreign objects.

If the side brush is confirmed to be deformed, please replace it with a new one.

If there are foreign objects: During cleaning, the side brush and roller brush may become entangled with household power cords, charging cables, etc. Please remove the side brush and clean out any foreign objects. After cleaning, try to place the robot near the cleaning area for continuous cleaning. Before cleaning, please organize the power cords on the floor to prevent entanglement.

If the above steps do not resolve your issue, there may be a hardware malfunction. Please contact our after-sales department for further assistance.Customer Care: +1 (888)308-6159

Thank you for the replies. I should’ve specified whether it was supposed to spin when vacuuming on carpet. Your reply helped me know it does not. It does spin on my linoleum so thank you for the help. There’s a lot about how it’s supposed to operate that I’m still learning that isn’t explained in the manual.
