Done ✅ — and I really appreciate MOVA asking for community input.
As someone using multiple smart cleaning products across the house, one area I’d love to see MOVA focus on is smarter maintenance + smarter recovery, not just stronger suction or bigger specs.
A few ideas I’d personally love to see in future products:
Map Lock / Map Change Confirmation
If the robot detects a major new room, ghost area, mirror reflection, or outdoor scan, the app should ask before permanently changing the map. This would help avoid accidental “phantom room” situations.
Smarter False Positive Handling
Patterned floors, marble veins, rugs, chair legs, and reflective surfaces can sometimes confuse obstacle or dirt recognition. A simple “ignore this area going forward” learning option would be very useful.
Maintenance Intelligence Dashboard
Instead of only reminding users to clean parts, the app could explain why performance changed — dirty sensor, clogged filter, scale buildup, roller resistance, tank issue, etc.
Hard Water / Scale Protection Mode
For mop-based robots, especially in areas with hard water, a scale-management reminder or water-quality setting would be very useful for long-term ownership.
Pool + Yard Robots: Real-World Recovery Features
For future pool cleaners and lawn mowers, I’d love to see strong focus on steps, slopes, algae zones, multi-zone layouts, serviceable parts, and clear warranty/service guidance.
Overall, my biggest wish is simple: make the robots not only smarter at cleaning, but smarter at explaining what they are doing and how to keep them performing at their best.
Would definitely be excited to support future testing or co-creation opportunities if MOVA continues expanding this type of community feedback program. |
