Rip inside brush compartment

While cleaning my vacuum I noticed a rip inside on a rubber lining. It's where the main brush sits and empties into the dust bin. I have noticed a lack of suction lately so I assume this rip is the problem. But not sure how to remove this main brush holding compartment or find a replacement.
