[Z60 Ultra Roller Complete] Z60 Carpet Cleaning

Hello. I received a Z60 Ultra Complete yesterday. I had it map the majority of the main floor (mostly hardwood with some area rugs). I then had it vacuum and mop over dedicated runs and it did a great job. However, I have a seperate carpeted living room which is not very large. It mapped the room but in every vacuum attempt (standard route) it will wander the room acting as if it's lost, often spinning in circles in the same area for a few minutes. It will eventually complete the entire room but it will take over 40 minutes and leave an unpleasant,  seemingly random pattern on the carpet.

In contrast, my previous Roborock S7 would complete this room in about 15 minutes and leave perfectly straight lines across the floor. What can be done to improve performance in this room? I did confirm that the robot is using the latest firmware. Thank you.

Hello, thanks for your detailed feedback about the carpet cleaning performance of MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete.
Our MOVA Z60 robotic cleaner adopts a dual-brush system, which can efficiently suck dust into the dust bin while cleaning carpets. If you are unsatisfied with its carpet cleaning efficiency and messy cleaning paths, please follow these troubleshooting steps below:
Turn on the Carpet Boost Cleaning Mode
Once enabled, the robot will automatically boost suction power for deeper carpet cleaning.
Activate advanced carpet cleaning options
Head to Carpet Cleaning Settings > Carpet Vacuum, and turn on Detailed Carpet Clean and Align Side Brush for Carpets. These two functions will greatly lift overall cleaning speed and coverage.
Clean sensors regularly to fix disorganized navigation paths
Wipe the front LiDAR sensor and camera lens with a soft dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fingerprints. Dirty sensors will cause positioning errors and random wandering on carpets.
Optimize settings for thick/long-pile dark carpets
This robot works perfectly for light-colored low-pile carpets like hard floors. For dark, high-pile or thick carpets:
Long thick carpet fibers may generate excessive friction, tangle the main brush and cause uneven wheel rotation, which leads to messy, random cleaning tracks.
Please enable Detailed Carpet Clean and Lift Chassis for Carpet Cleaning in Carpet Settings. When the chassis lifts, friction between the roller and carpet will be reduced, delivering neater cleaning lines and cutting down cleaning time dramatically.
If the issue persists after adjusting all above settings, please share your device SN serial number and share the robot with our official account BD929781, our technical team will remotely check and resolve this problem for you.
