[V50 Ultra Complete] HELP

I can’t seem to connect my mova to the WiFi, called customer support and got no where. It felt like I was bothering the person on the other line. She quickly tried rushing me to my email rather than guiding me through the phone. Anyone have any tips ?

Sorry you're having trouble getting your V50 connected. Here are a few things that typically resolve Wi-Fi pairing issues:

Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and place both your phone and the robot close to your router for the strongest signal.
Before starting the setup, enable Bluetooth and Location permissions for the MOVA app, as both are required during the pairing process.

If prompted, connect to the robot's temporary Wi-Fi hotspot, wait for the robot's voice prompt, then return to the app and allow the setup to finish.

If possible, use a Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password that contain only letters and numbers. Some routers or devices can have trouble with special characters.

Restart your router and the robot, then try pairing again. Also check that your router isn't using MAC address filtering or other settings that could block new devices.

If you're still unable to connect, try setting up the robot using a different smartphone or by using one phone as a mobile hotspot while another phone completes the setup. This can help determine whether the issue is with the phone or your home network.

If none of these steps work, let us know exactly where the setup is failing (for example, if it can't find the robot, won't connect to the hotspot, or fails at a certain point), and I’m sure Mova support would be happy to help troubleshoot further.
Hello! Here are steps to fix your robot Wi-Fi connection issue:
Frequency band: Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as the robot does not support 5 GHz-only networks.
Power on the robot: Confirm the robot is powered on. If it is off, hold the power button to turn it on, then tap "+ Add Device" in the app to reconfigure Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi status indicator: Open the robot cover and check the Wi-Fi light:
Solid blue: Wi-Fi connected. If the light stays blue but the app shows offline, re-add the device to reconfigure.
Flashing blue: Weak signal. Place the robot in an area with strong Wi-Fi coverage.
Note: Resetting the robot’s Wi-Fi will erase all saved maps and settings.
Router reboot: Power off your router, wait a moment and restart it. Also update the MOVA app to the latest version.
Network test: Create a mobile hotspot with your phone, connect another phone to this hotspot, then pair the robot with it. If pairing works on the hotspot, the issue lies with your home router settings.
Router access rules: Turn off MAC filtering, device whitelists, blacklists and all other access restrictions.
Final solution: If connection still fails, uninstall and reinstall the app, then complete pairing again.
Thank you for your understanding. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions!
