[V50 Ultra Complete] Can't return to base

I have a new mova which has been mapping the house. Now it needs to return for recharging. However, it isn't able to find the base. What do I do?

Here are a few things you can do:

1. Just manually place it on the dock to let it fully charge. Since this is the initial mapping run, once it’s charged, it should continue mapping. It will even map areas differently the more you run it and optimize your map over time.


2. Verify your dock placement and ensure there is ample space on each side of it. It ideally shouldn’t be tucked in a corner or behind a bunch of furniture.


3. Ensure the charging station is turned on! It needs to be plugged in + the switch on the back needs to be set to ON. Also make sure the charging contacts remain clean!

1. The charging dock/base station has lost power or been moved manually. If this happens, plug the charging dock/base station back into power and place it back to its original position.
2. There are obstacles on the tray of the charging dock/base station and the surrounding ground. Please clear away all obstacles promptly.
3. The robot gets stuck or triggers error alerts during cleaning. In this case, manually carry the robot back onto the charging dock/base station.
4. The ground where the charging dock/base station sits is uneven. Please relocate the charging dock/base station to a flat ground surface.
5. System malfunction. Place the robot 1 meter in front of the charging dock/base station and tap the "Recall" button on the station. If the robot still fails to return, please contact our after-sales team.

I opened my mova and set it up. It cleaned a couple rooms the same day. The next day it is offline and I can't get it to come back on. Weve cleaned the sensors, changed outlets just in case, the base has power but not the robot. I am at a loss here. Any suggestions? I am afraid we have a dud. 😭
