[V50 Ultra Complete] V50 robot randomly stops and asks me to manually move it to the dock

After the v4.3.9_3154 update, i’ve started experiencing robot getting stuck in random places where there is no obstruction at all. Before it used to clean the whole apartment without any manual intervention, but now it just gets stuck at random places in a loop and I have to physically move it to another place so that I can start mopping and cleaning again or cleaning again.  This started happening since last week and I suspect that this might be the this might be a bug in the latest update.

As you can see in the attached video, the way to its charging dock is completely clear and free of obstacles. Before it was easily able to navigate its way around to the charging dock, but now I don’t know what happened recently in last week that it has stopped being able to return back to talk, and I have to physically move it. I haven’t changed anything neither in  my apartment nor in the map.

I just got this new vacuum and I was experiencing something similar. Is yours also hitting a closed door over and over like in a loop?

Good morning,

Thank you for your feedback.

Regarding the issue of the device not automatically returning to the base station after the firmware update, we suggest you troubleshoot using the following instructions:

Ensure the robot starts from the base station and check if the LDS laser sensor on top of the robot is rotating properly.

Check if the main wheels of the robot are slipping or getting stuck during cleaning.

If the base station has been moved, manually dock the robot with the base station and then start cleaning from the base station.

If the problem persists, we recommend contacting our after-sales service team to attempt a firmware rollback to see if this resolves the issue.

@NA936463 yes I do have seen it go into a loop in some places. But it happens randomly, not every time. Not sure what causes it.  It Just goes into a loop even though there is ample space for it to move around.

The dock has not been moved and the top sensor rotates freely, and there is no tangling, debris between the wheels or the brush so I have checked it all obviously troubleshooting steps.

I'm having the same problems. My app is Aldo adding threshold. I have remove extra thresholds twice in the 2 weeks I've owned it.  It has also froped the mop pads 3timr for no apparent reason.
