I was extremely lucky to be selected as part of Mova's #GetYourZ60 campaign, and I'm looking forward to trying out this vacuum and sharing my honest experiences with you all. Today I set up my Z60 and its base station and had it map my apartment, so I wanted to talk a bit about my first impressions.
When I opened up the big box that the Z60 came in, I noticed that everything seemed to be packaged very carefully, which I really appreciate. Both the base station and the robot itself came encased in cloth bags, and everything else came in cardboard. I think this is great compared to the styrofoam packaging that can be common, because it makes for an easier unboxing experience and is also more sustainable.
Prior to this, I had a P10 Pro Ultra, which I liked a lot overall. But the first thing that I noticed that elevates the Z60 in comparison are its aesthetics. The base station is sleeker and more compact, and I really like the subtle sparkle it has in the light. I feel like it doesn't just blend into your decor, it actually looks nice as a part of your home.
I was also very impressed by how many free replacement parts Mova included with the vacuum. I don't think I've really seen other robot vacuum brands doing this and it's really great. In addition to the replacement mop rollers, vacuum main & side brushes, dust bags, and filters, the kit also came with a large bottle of multi-surface cleaning solution (enough for multiple refills!) and a bottle of pet cleaning solution big enough to fill the second tank once. This is really a great value, and I think it's an especially great feature for a first-time robot vacuum buyer to make the experience of having a robot even easier.
I also ran the fast mapping function after I got the robot and base station set up, which I was impressed by. It only took 5 or 10 minutes to map, which was much quicker than my P10 if I'm remembering correctly, and it was surprisingly accurate for such a quick timeframe. I am really looking forward to testing out the vacuuming and mopping capabilities of the Z60 and seeing what kinds of differences it makes around the house, so stay tuned!
