MOVA Z60 First Thoughts

I was recently selected to be part of the Mova test program, which honestly couldn’t have come at a better time because I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with robot vacuums. I really enjoy testing new models, comparing features, and seeing how they perform in real, everyday use. My goal with this review and future updates is to share honest, practical feedback based on how it handles daily life in my home.

For context, I currently own the Mova V50 and previously had the P10 Pro, so I have a solid baseline for comparison. Setup was incredibly easy. It mapped my 900 sq ft space in just a few minutes and was ready to clean almost immediately, which was noticeably faster than my experience with the other models.

Visually, the Z60 stands out right away. The base has a glossy black finish compared to the more matte look of the V50, which gives it a sleeker, more premium appearance in my opinion. The unit itself feels heavier in a good way, and that added weight seems to translate into better mopping pressure and overall build quality.

One thing I really liked, especially after seeing it in action, is the roller mop design. Unlike the spinning mop pads on the V50 that mostly just absorb dirty water, the roller actually pulls the dirty water inward as it cleans. It feels more intentional and cleaner, like it is actively removing grime instead of just soaking it up. I also like that the mop roller still extends outward to reach corners and edges, which was something I did not want to lose with a different mop style.

Another big improvement is the lowering LiDAR system. It allows this model to get under furniture and tighter spaces that my P10 Pro simply could not reach. That alone has made a noticeable difference in how clean the space feels overall.

So far, cleaning efficiency has been excellent. It moves through rooms quickly without feeling rushed, battery life has been strong, and even on high suction it is quieter than my previous units. The dirty water tank also smells noticeably less compared to what I experienced before, which has been a surprisingly big improvement.

First impression, this thing is a beast, and I am excited to keep testing it head to head to see how it performs over time.
